Vandalism

I want to hear your thoughts people, the resent vandalism has cought my eye and annoys me (I've only been away for a week and already there were quite a few problems). Due to the fact that IP changes are out of my hands I was thinking putting all content under -registerd users only- modes. Although I do not prefer this this should help anti-vandalism at least slightly. So let me know ;).

other stuff

Mmm I have some comment about pokemon diamond. The save game did corrupt for me and it couldn't be restored. I lost 20 hours of gameplay and had to start all over. I just save than I stopped and next day it sayed it was corrupt or damaged and it had to be removed so I had to start over :(

Well, it would help if you say what your situation was :). Things like what hardware you were using, what settings, etc.. ~Scorpei

Mmm I just used the Diamond (E) version on the Nintendo DS lite with DS Xtreme. I don't remember the city but I saved in the first city where you got the slot machine. After I saved I quit and than when I got back and played again it was corrupted. ~Deman

Sure you dont mean US version, European hasnt even been released in shops yet! I was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to setup something (script? dunno if thats the correct term, dont know much about html, you can do somethin like it on spreadsheets like excel) to calculate (maybe using each colour as a point to relevant section) to calculate how many games are working or partially working? If someone did it for one section I could transfer it over to the rest if its not too complicated! Be a lot easier then counting each thing everytime (I lose count really easily when im scrolling!) Oh and I think you should keep on the releases on one page, miles easier to find something! Thanks for having this great service! Oh and do you have a forum/forum type thing here? Couldnt find one, might be me being useless, but didnt want to pollute this page! ~WezG

Hey WezG, I'm not sure you can do a calculate thing but I guess in theory it should be possible with some neat php (possibly externally --> not in the wiki itself but via an external page in a wrapper). Personally I do not have enough knowlidge to do such a thing so maby someone else can look into it. As for all releases on one page, I'm not quite sure what you mean, however there are clean lists available and all releases are on one page with pretty much all (except for ninja pass and maybe one or two others) compat. lists. And for a forum, I don't have one (because of the big upkeep it requires. I have a wiki because I personally do not have time to do EVERY check and I believe in the strength of the community over that of one individual). Might add one in the future but don't count on it :). I don't want to spend my time cleaning spam by others. Cheers and thanks for your comments, contributions and support! ~~ Scorpei

Cheers for responding, I will look into it, I'm sure I have seen when I have edited a few web pages (Just messing about taking ads out of game faqs n stuff) using microsoft word (Use openoffice now though) and seems you can put little spreadsheet boxes in, I dont know if you could put that html file in the wiki, but with spreadsheet things you can put something that will caclutate one colour as 1 point for the working section (I will try lookup the specific codes for it) and another 1 point for partially. Im sure I read somewhere on here about possibly breaking up the lists into a couple of pages (I think cards and homebrew maybe but the main list (In my opinion!) looks great all together - And you can easily search for a game if you save the list on your comp for when you are offline. I will have a look for the spreadsheet info as I would gladly help you in any way I could with this great site! ~WezG

DSFile Comment

Comment on the r4 compatibility list. DSFile does load up on the r4. However, I could not get it to read anything from the Supercard Lite Rumble I had sitting. Either I am doing something wrong or there is an issue with the compatibility list.

DS LINKER/N-CARD -- WildDenim

I'm still waiting and have been for three hours(so far) for the confirmation code so I could not email personally so sorry about this. As a user of N-Card/DS Linker ( I know they are the same so I'll edit the N-Card (seas of grey bars!!) but I need lots of help on how to edit them but would love to help N-Card users to check the list for games as I have downloaded lots of games and want to put my results here.

If you let me :D

Multiplayer between r4 and cycloDS

Just got a cycloDs the other day, and wanted to play some games with friends, however, the problem is the cycloDs fails to join nearly 90% of the games. The only games that it could join and play successfully was: mario kart, tetris and the infernal tower. Other than that, every other game, the r4 could not see the cycloDS and vice versa. Mortal Kombat however, the r4 and cycloDs managed to communicate..and managed to get 1 round in, before the cycloDs failed. Been looking everywhere for a soloution..but apparently, r4 owners, only play with other r4 owners while the cycloDs owners only play with cycloDs' so anyway, i was just wondering if there was a homebrew patch somewhere that could fix this. R4 is running 1.18 chinese firmware (patched to be in english) and cycloDS is using 1.4 stable. (also tried 1.5 beta) but it didnt make a differnce). --Zhou--
